Construction Day 1

After delivery of 28 IKEA flatpack boxes, we started a period of heavy construction work here. After helping Nathan with an introduction into the IKEA world of construction and instructions, I let him go at the large futon. It was incredible to watch his process. He was very inventive and did a fabulous job. He then taught Celia how to build the smaller one and she was off!! I made lunch and then knitted while they worked. We listened to Prairie Home Companion and then Van Halen's OU812 then U2s How to dismantle an Atomic Bomb. Quite the afternoon!! Not exactly your picture of our life in France??!!
